Introducing triplets to solid foods for the first time is a new and exciting milestone for any mom. Because it's at this stage, they start to experience new tastes, structures and foods.

On the other hand, home-made triplets food recipes are healthier. And they are in fact easier to prepare, than buying jarred foods. Prepare them one at a time and store them in the refrigerator to save time and money.

When it's three times the work with triplets, you might be exhausted, or not encouraged to prepare it yourself. So you tend to buy baby jarred food. I feel you mama! but it's worthwhile to think of it as must do. For the matter results in healthy triplets. And for you, less time-consuming.

Babies can be introduced to solids after 6 months of age. The first foods includes fruits such as: bananas, apples, pears, and avocado. Vegetables; zucchini, carrots, green beans, peas, potatoes, sweet potatoes, and squash. In addition to Cereals.

Fruits-Based Triplets Food Recipes

Bananas for baby food are the easiest ever to prepare. They are prepared as fast as getting the quantity you want to serve and mash it with fork. Consider mashing it well until it gets a paste texture, as babies are not used to chewing at this stage. The older your triplets are, the less you will need to mash or puree their meals.

You can prepare these fruits for baby food as easy as can be. Just simply remove the skins, cut the fruit into pieces and place them in a food blender or processor. Adding a little water for the desired texture. You can also mix the fruits so that your baby will not get used to one flavor only. But make sure to introduce each fruit in separate for 3 days before mixing it with any other kind. That's to make sure that your baby has no allergy to a specific food type.

A great fruit combination that my triplets favor includes banana with strawberry. Banana with kiwi. Mango with banana. Peach with Banana. Blueberry and Apple. Apple, orange and banana.

Vegetables in Triplets Food Recipes

The most familiar baby food is mashed potatoes. It is one of the favorites of my triplets food recipes that all three of them love. There are many different ways to make your mashed or pureed vegetable more appealing to your babies.

For instance, you can try carrots and sweet potatoes or green peas and potatoes. These are high in calcium, iron and Vitamins A, E and C.

Try this healthy combo brown rice with Squash and apple. For that you will need 2 cups of well cooked brown rice, 1 cooked squash 3 boiled to soften, and pealed and chopped apples. All you need to do is mix all the ingredients together.

Beware of Dehydration Problems

When introducing solids to your triplets, there are times you may forget adding liquids which can lead to dehydration. This may also occur if your baby does not drink enough amount of milk.

In addition to the usualy and expected baby vomiting. Which is common while feeding because your baby is not familiar to solids. The symptoms of dehydration include weakness, less amount of urine, dry lips and mouth, and sleepiness.

The change in salt concentration makes dehydration worse and may predispose brain damage. This problem can be treated with fluids and replacements like chloride and sodium that are given orally. So please highly consider adding liquids in preparing baby food recipes.
